lANGUAGE AND CULTURE PROGRAM
Study Spanish all-year-round in courses of two, three, four and ten weeks. Spanish language courses are offered at all levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Proficiency). Wide variety of subjects. Students can design their course to suit their needs and preferences. The first two mandatory hours of Spanish language can be complemented with one, two or three more elective subjects. Reduced groups of students.
MEDICAL PROGRAM
Medical and Health Program is aimed at students who wish to pursue studies of Health Sciences: Medicine, Nursing, Health Management, Pharmacology, Biology... and who want to take a semester in Salamanca.
BUSINESS PROGRAM
This program is designed for students to feel free to choose the subjects that fit their needs. The students can choose the modules they are most interested in. A basic course of four-modules (Spring semester) or three-modules (Fall semester) can be complemented with additional subjects from the Modular Program or from the Personalized Learning Student Plan. Students' placement into language classes will be determined by an on-site placement test.

LANGUAGE AND CULTURE PROGRAM

- City sightseeing tours (see monthly schedule).
- Attendance to projections of Spanish films (see schedule).
- Insurance with medical coverage for illnesses and accidents happened during the course length.
- Universidad de Salamanca WiFi usage.
- Access to Universidad de Salamanca sport facilities.

bUSINESS PROGRAM
The Business Program is aimed at students of Business, Economics or International Relations who want to take a semester in Salamanca and study a program which is held in English (B2 level required).
Within this program, you must choose at least three subjects per semester.
Each subject has a total of 45 hours. Apart from the three subjects of the Business Program, you can choose other subjects from the Modular Program and/or the Personalized Student Learning Plan (PCI), provided that their schedules are in accordance with the Business Program dates.
All subjects of the Business Program are held in English except for Español con fines profesionales, which is held in Spanish (minimum level of Spanish proficiency: B1/ Intermediate).
MEDICAL PROGRAM
Within this program, student must choose at least two subjects each semester.
Each subject has a total of 45 hours per semester.
Apart from the two subjects of the Medical and Health Program, students can take additional subjects from the Modular Program and/of the Personalized Student Learning plan (Plan Curricular Individualizado, PCI in Spanish).
All subjects of the Medical and Health Program are held in English.
The subject Health Communication will be also held in Spanish: Comunicación y Salud (minimum level of Spanish proficiency:Intermediate/Advanced).

CURSOS INTERNACIONALES HOY
Cursos Internacionales de la Universidad de Salamanca se constituye en 1989 como entidad con personalidad jurídica propia con la finalidad de servir de apoyo instrumental a la Universidad de Salamanca para impartir cursos de español para extranjeros y de idiomas a españoles, fomentar, en general, la difusión y la enseñanza de la lengua fuera de nuestras fronteras, y evaluar el conocimiento del idioma.
Para la consecución de estos fines, ha suscrito convenios de colaboración con diferentes instituciones y organismos nacionales e internacionales, merced a los cuales se encuentra trabajando en diversos proyectos conducentes al desarrollo y a la elaboración de materiales e instrumentos necesarios para la enseñanza, el aprendizaje y la evaluación del español.
Desde entonces, Cursos Internacionales ha ido ampliando la oferta de asignaturas y de tipos de cursos. El número de alumnos ha ido aumentando hasta llegar a los más de 7000 anuales. Cursos Internacionales desarrolla en la actualidad una gran actividad nacional e internacional en todos los aspectos relacionados con el español como lengua extranjera y cuenta con extenso y variado programa docente.
